Invitation Suite
Inspired by Fleetwood Mac and the ethereal imagery associated with Stevie Nicks, Rumours in White is a custom invitation suite designed for the annual Casa Mañana Gala. Combining intricate imagery, dimensional paper construction, and elegant typography, the invitation unfolds to reveal a pair of dramatic, feathered wings.
The invitation was designed as an interactive, three-dimensional piece, with custom die-cut wings that fold around the central card. From the intricate feather details to the way the wings open and close, every element was developed to balance visual impact with functionality.
Creating the die-cut wings required developing detailed artwork for both the front and reverse, ensuring the feather illustrations aligned with the same cut lines. Using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Firefly, I constructed and refined the wings, balancing texture, shading, and composition to create a cohesive design.
