The Rainforest Cafe is a jungle-themed restaurant chain filled with vines, trees, and animatronic rainforest animals that come to life within the dining room. This conceptual rebrand pivoted to capture the fun and lively atmosphere of the restaurant through engaging illustrations. These new illustrations are used to help support and integrate the 3-dimensional elements the chain is known for to other 2D applications.
The use of colorful and overlapping illustrations presents the opportunity to take those pieces and apply them to surfaces and other deliverables such as signage, to-go bags, murals, and more.
