Waffle House is a classic diner-esque restaurant chain that has been open since 1955. The goal for this conceptual rebrand was to maintain the classic and familiar feel of this iconic restaurant chain while reviving it with a retro comic book style that reflects the fun personality & character that the brand and its customers have.
This mockup demonstrates the versatility of the design and its ability to be applied to a food truck. The truck continues the brand consistency of Waffle House when it’s an extension away from its brick-and-mortar diners.
The billboard mockup is a billboard advertisement for Waffle House, continuing to maintain a casual and playful tone, like going over to a friend’s house for breakfast and a hot cup of coffee.
